Sips and Salmon: Habitat Restoration with Vigor

October 30, 2025 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm PDT

Learn how salmon are making a comeback on Seattle’s working waterfront. University of Washington’s Wetland Ecosystem Team, Floyd Snider, and KPFF Consulting Engineers will share the story of a major habitat restoration effort along the Duwamish River—plus early results from monitoring how fish are responding. Short presentation at 6pm + Q&A.

Free to attend. Come for the salmon stories, stay for the cider!

This educational series is presented by Vigor Marine Group, our partner on the Urban Estuary Restoration project – you can learn more here.

Q: Can I bring my kids?

A: Yes! Seattle Cider Company is an all-ages taproom, and we will have Survive the Sound coloring sheets with us – your kiddos can work on designing their own fish for the 2026 competition.

Q: Is the taproom dog-friendly?

A: No – while dogs are allowed on their patio, our presentations will be inside where they are not. Please leave your pups at home.

Q: Can I bring food?

A: Outside food is not allowed, but you can view their full menu here
