Join Executive Director Jacques White for a virtual talk on salmon recovery with the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge’s online Summer Lecture Series. Register here: https://www.friendsofnisquallynwrc.org/summer-lecture-series/

The loss of salmon threatens the heart of Pacific Northwest culture, a multi-billion-dollar fishing industry, the health of our local sea including our iconic southern resident killer whales and deeply rooted Native American rights and traditions. Jacques will share updates from Long Live the Kings on the Salish Sea Marine Survival Project and other critically important efforts to address these challenges, uniting over 200 partners to determine what controlsĀ salmon and steelhead productivity and to devise and implement effective strategies to bring them back for the long run.

This event is hosted by the Friends of Nisqually NRWC. Register on their website to recieve the link to join (and check out the other great offerings in their PNW science lecture series this summer!)
