
Gaylord M. Kellogg
Gaylord is a private investor in early stage companies at Saltspring Ventures and CEO of Biocement, a company specializing in using native soil bacteria to stabilize soils for construction, remediation, and erosion control. As an investor, he has focused in internet, software and clean technologies, and include Amazon, AvenueA/Aquantive, Cheezburger Network, Escapia, Halosource, Modumetal, Neah Power, and Tegic Communications. He co-founded Gear.com, an online retailer of surplus sporting goods acquired by Overstock. His board positions have included The Nature Conservancy of Washington, On the Boards, The Henry Art Gallery, and Northwest Horticulture. He currently serves on the Executive and Screening Committees for the Alliance of Angels, and on the Investment Committee for its Seed Fund.
