Shannon Guthrie is a public funding and strategy leader working at the intersection of clean energy, infrastructure, and environmental resilience. She brings experience across utilities, non-profits, and government, with a focus on leveraging public funding to advance large-scale, cross-sector initiatives.
In her current role at Puget Sound Energy, Shannon leads the company’s public funding strategy, working to secure and implement state and federal funding in support of grid modernization, resilience, and affordability. Her work includes developing funding pipelines, managing complex grant portfolios, and building the systems needed to ensure effective and compliant program delivery.
Previously, Shannon served as a strategic advisor at Seattle City Light and as an institutional giving manager at The National Audubon Society. Across her work, she has helped organizations navigate evolving policy landscapes and align funding with long-term environmental and community outcomes.
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time outdoors, hosting potlucks with friends, and knitting.
