Kaelie joined the Long Live the Kings staff in early 2025. She spent the previous three years at Sound Salmon Solutions where she managed the hatchery operations and education programs. Kaelie raised 80,000 coho salmon yearly and released them into the Lake Washington watershed and taught environmental education to youth and adults across Snohomish and King County.
Kaelie has spent many years in the animal husbandry field, from coastal research to scientific diving to aquarium work. She is excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest after spending some time in San Diego after graduating from Oregon State University with a degree in Zoology.
In her free time, Kaelie can be found teaching Pure Barre, hiking with her pup, and finding new food spots with her husband.
